Its main job will be to operate, maintain and develop its trading platform. It will also perform the following functions:

  • Validating transactions on its platform and liaising with waste producers and operators;
  • Ensuring compliance with management regulations and legislation;
  • Guaranteeing confidentiality of information;
  • Setting up mechanisms for accountability of market players;
  • Ensuring its dissemination and credibility;
  • Developing and operating the platform;
  • Ensuring the security, confidentiality and integrity of information;
  • Providing accessory services, such as the issuing of consignment notes, etc.;
  • Encouraging the acceptance of products made from waste.


Management bodies will be responsible for obtaining their own finance, such as transaction commissions and fees for annual membership or accessory services, so that their trading platforms are self-supporting.
