The organised waste market (MOR, in Portuguese) is a trading area based on electronic platforms that can be used to trade waste, as they process market enquiries, expressions of interest and actual transactions. These platforms require authorisation by Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente(Portuguese Environment Agency - APA) certifying that they are secure and sustainable. The trading platforms will be managed by privately-owned companies called management bodies.
