6. What partners are involved in the project? What part does each one play?
Sociedade Ponto Verde, Ambigroup, ACAP and Seminv are the shareholders of MOR Online. Sociedade Ponto Verde, S.A. (SPV) is a privately owned, non-profit company whose object is to organise and manage the take-back and recovery of packaging waste by implementing an integrated packaging waste management system (SIGRE). Ambigroup is a private group that currently comprises 12 companies linked to the areas of waste management, demolitions, forest biomass, logistics and engineering and has operated in the collection and treatment of the most important waste flows for more than 30 years. ACAP is the only business association that represents the entire automotive sector and has around 2,000 corporate members all over the country. It is a shareholder in two of the main waste management bodies in Portugal: ValorCar (management and recovery of scrap vehicles and used car batteries) and ValorPneu (management and recovery of used tyres). Seminv is a company owned 100% by Semapa, a business group that operates in paper and pulp, energy generation, cement and derivatives. MOR Online therefore has representatives of the main waste flows in Portugal.
